I going to admit that I am not the poster child for good self care habits and I have eluded to that tidbit more than a few times on this blog. The gentle foam of this honey cleanser fulfills all my “suds means clean” preconceived notions while the honey and glycerin help to the dryness associated with soap based cleansers. This honey face wash is great for removing everyday makeup, dirt and grime!

I like warming cardamom and ginger to bring vitality to my often pale skin, while lemon improves clarity and radiance, and lavender calms sensitive skin. How to Use Honey Cleanser
Place a quarter sized about of this honey face wash in the palm of you hand and work into a rich lather with a bit if water. Massage the lather around the face, avoid the eye area. Rinse well with luke warm water and follow with this homemade toner. Once your skin is squeaky clean, consider apply a bit of this vitamin C serum and your favorite moisturizing lotion or cream!

- 1 cup castile soap
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup vegetable glycerin
- 60-80 drops essential oil of your choice optional
- Place a quarter sized about of this honey face wash in the palm of you hand and work into a rich lather with a bit if water. Massage the lather around the face, avoid the eye area. Rinse well with luke warm water and follow with this homemade toner.
