I going to admit that I am not the poster child for good self care habits and I have eluded to that tidbit more than a few times on this blog. While washing my face after a grimy day of working on the homestead or in the garden doesn’t take so much convincing — washing my face on a make-up free day of writing at my desk, well, THAT is sometimes takes of act of Congress to get me to me sudsy.
You guys, I am not lazy — it’s just that the bathroom sink is over there and I am over here… and, and, and…
I swear — instead of being an almost 40 year old mother and former beauty industry professional, I might actually be an 11 year old country boy.
Ask me how I know about the personal care habits of 11 year old country boys. I’ve had a hand in raising a couple.
All this to say, this girls needs some self care motivation. And I find it by way of this honey face wash. Because it absolutely delights my senses! The rich later, aromatic essential oils, and gentle honey leave my skin feeling clean and my senses indulged.

Hi Devon, I’m excited to try this recipe. I have also pre-ordered your book. I just wanted to mention in the instructions, it says follow with “this homemade toner” but it isn’t linked. I would also humbly suggest that you program your shopping links to open in a new window because I do want to stay on your site and not lose where I was on your site while I shop with your link! Just some suggestions. 😊 Looking forward to the book and exploring your site deeper!
Than you for notifying me of this. I just did a website remodel. Previously all links opened in a new window… I guess that didn’t stick! Ugggggggh! Now to figure out if there is a way to fix all my links! Blogging peoples problems…
Thank you so much for ordering my book, Michelle!
hello, I would like to make my own skincare products and have been looking for natural preservatives to extend the shelf-life of the product. I heard about liquid germall plus is safe to use as a preservatives in many skincare and cosmetics, is it really safe to mix in the products with similar ingredients like your face wash? and is liquid germall plus vegan? thank you if you answer this!
Just tried this today and I am in love. What do you think the shelf life of this is since the vegetable glycerin is somewhat of a preservative?
The article is very well written especially the honey face wash ingredients. I am definitely going to use this at home. If your skin is oily make sure add a lemon and cucumber juice that will help to hydrate and prevent the skin damage from free radicals,
The natural homemade face wash with the honey is really a great idea and it is good for the skin. You can also use a natural multi purpose cleanser to cleanse the skin at deeper level.
Hi, thanks for sharing this article. I always use homemade face wash with the honey and it is good for the skin. You can also use some cleanser to clean makeup at night for glowing skin.
